1790 Census: Plantation No. 12, West of Machias, Washington County

Incorporated with Plantation No. 13 in 1796 as Columbia. Land was set off to Harrington in 1818 and 1823, to Centerville in 1859, and to Cherryfield in 1881. The town of Columbia Falls (formerly No. 13) was set off in 1863.
